> AMD's 256-core Zen 6 flagship delivers a 24% IPC gain and massive multi-core performance in newly leaked server benchmarks.

**AMD**'s **Zen 6** architecture has officially surfaced in **Geekbench** via the **EPYC 9996**, a massive 256-core, 512-thread CPU. The flagship chip achieved a single-core score of 2847 and a multi-core score of 68,427 while operating at a maximum boost frequency of 4.12 GHz.

The **Venice** lineup, which launched prior to October 2026, includes the EPYC 4545P 16-core chip reaching 5.5 GHz. These Zen 6C processors feature 1.0 GB of L3 cache and a 600W TDP. Notably, next-gen Ryzen CPUs will continue to utilize the established AM5 socket.

Geekbench results indicate that Zen 6 delivers up to a 24% increase in per-clock performance over Zen 5. This significant IPC gain, paired with high core counts and configurable power limits down to 400W, positions AMD's latest architecture for high efficiency.
