Cooler Master releases its $49.99 12v-2x6 GPU Shield cable in the U.S., featuring dual-color connectors and automatic current reduction.

has officially launched the GPU Shield in the United States, a 12v-2×6 adapter cable first showcased at CES 2026. The 200 mm cable, which appeared in China earlier this August, is now available on the company's online shop for a price of $49.99.

The adapter features dual-color connector tips to ensure proper insertion and provides both visual and auditory warnings if current anomalies are detected. It is designed to automatically reduce current during high-load irregularities to protect hardware.

This launch brings specialized safety technology to the DIY PC market, as Cooler Master also integrates GPU Shield features directly into select power supply units. The standalone cable offers a critical safeguard for users managing high-power GPU demands.
