Elecom Unveils 8-in-1 USB-C Dock With Dial Knob

Japanese maker Elecom launches the DST-L080BPBK, a compact 8-in-1 USB-C dock featuring a customizable dial and four programmable buttons.

Japanese peripheral maker Elecom has unveiled the DST-L080BPBK, a new 8-in-1 USB Type-C dock featuring a unique physical interface. The compact device, measuring 74 x 87 x 59 mm and weighing 250 g, includes a large dial knob and four customizable buttons.

The dock offers a 4K 60Hz HDMI port, Gigabit Ethernet, SD/microSD slots, and a 3.5 mm jack. Connectivity includes three 5 Gbps USB ports and a 100W Power Delivery Type-C port. Users can configure the dial and buttons via Elecom's Mouse Assistant software.

Launching in Japan this October for ¥13,728, the dock supports Windows 10, 11, and macOS Tahoe 26. While Elecom previously released the M.A.P.P. mouse and IST trackball, the company has not yet confirmed international availability for this specific model.
