# Framework Desktop with 192GB RAM Pre-orders Open

[Framework](<https://hardwarebrief.com/entity/framework-computer-q107661386>) has confirmed that pre-orders for the new 192 GB **Gorgon Halo**-based Framework Desktop will open on the morning of September 30, Pacific Time. The system is powered by the **AMD Ryzen AI Max+ Pro 495** CPU, featuring 16 cores and a 5.2 GHz boost clock.

The desktop includes 192 GB of LPDDR5X unified memory with 273 GB/s bandwidth, allowing up to 160 GB for the **Radeon 8065S** GPU. It delivers 131 TOPS of combined AI compute, features an open-ended PCIe x4 slot, and ships with a pre-installed [Noctua](<https://hardwarebrief.com/entity/noctua-company-q2495224>) cooling fan.

This high-performance model surpasses the previous 128 GB version by offering significantly more memory for AI and graphics tasks. Framework will offer pre-built Fedora units, while officially supporting Windows and various other Linux distributions for users.
