# Gemtek Unveils AI-Native Wi-Fi 8 Gateway October 15, 2026 at 07:08 PM > Gemtek, Qualcomm, and gFiber debut an AI-native Wi-Fi 8 broadband gateway at Network X 2026 for planned deployment in 2027. **Gemtek Technology Co., Ltd.** has unveiled an AI-native Wi-Fi 8 broadband gateway at Network X 2026, developed in collaboration with **Qualcomm** and **gFiber**. Built on the Qualcomm Dragonwing NPro A8 Elite Platform, the device is targeted for deployment in 2027. Engineered by Gemtek and powered by software from its subsidiary **Genix Networks**, the gateway features Wi-Fi 8 Quad-Band connectivity and Edge AI computing. The Genix software provides an AI-driven interface for natural-language voice network management. As the launch service provider, gFiber defined the subscriber experience and will be the first operator to deploy the hardware.
