A new report from 3D Center tracking German retailers reveals massive GPU price hikes over a 12-month period. The NVIDIA RTX 50 series led the surge with a 66% overall increase, while the flagship GeForce RTX 5090 saw its market price skyrocket by 132%.
Data shows almost every NVIDIA RTX 50 SKU rose by at least 50%, with the RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB jumping over 70%. Competitors were also affected, as AMD RX 9000 series prices climbed 48% and Intel Arc GPUs, specifically the B580 and B570, rose by an average of 38%.
The sharpest increases occurred during the second half of 2026, following a late 2025 rise in DRAM costs. With the Radeon RX 9060 XT 8 GB hit hardest for AMD, these trends highlight a volatile market where even mid-range hardware faces significant inflation.
