# Intel Panther Lake Die Shots Reveal 18A Design

**Hardware & Co** has published high-resolution die shots of [Intel](<https://hardwarebrief.com/entity/intel-q248>)'s upcoming processors following [Computex 2026](<https://hardwarebrief.com/entity/computex-q1122733>). Captured using a macro lens on uncut wafers, these images were shared by enthusiast InstLatX64, revealing the architecture of the new hardware.

The shots detail the [Panther Lake](<https://hardwarebrief.com/entity/panther-lake-microprocessor-q131830820>) compute tile, part of the Core Ultra Series 3 family. Built on the Intel 18A process, the tile features Cougar Cove P-cores, Darkmont E-core clusters, a low-power cluster, and integrated media and display engine components.

This leak provides a rare look at Intel's next-gen silicon, including Wildcat Lake and Clearwater Forest. While the compute tile is dense, the Xe3 graphics hardware remains on a separate die, marking a key design choice for the 18A-based Panther Lake chips.
