Lian Li Launches Edge Hub Adv for GPU Safety

Lian Li's new $39.99 Edge Hub Adv features thermal monitoring and emergency shutdown capabilities for high-power GPU configurations.

Lian Li has launched the Edge Hub Adv, a specialized internal USB and fan hub priced at $39.99. Available in black or white, the device features four USB 2.0 connectors and seven PWM headers, including a motherboard sync port, powered by two separate USB chips.

The hub includes two sensor ports for NTC sensors built into a 650 mm 12v-2x6 GPU power cable. It connects to L-Connect 3 software on Windows, which monitors connector temperatures and triggers an emergency shutdown if a specific thermal threshold is reached.

This hardware provides critical safety layers by displaying on-screen alerts and sending email notifications before a shutdown. Designed to connect to Edge PSUs or standard 8-pin headers, it offers advanced monitoring for high-power GPU configurations.
