> The $5,899.99 Surface Laptop Ultra featuring the RTX Spark platform and 128GB of unified memory is currently out of stock at Microsoft.

[Microsoft](<https://hardwarebrief.com/entity/microsoft-q2283>)'s high-end **Surface Laptop Ultra** configuration, featuring the **RTX Spark** platform with 128GB of unified memory and a 1TB SSD, is currently listed as out of stock. Priced at $5,899.99, this model represents the peak of the new hardware lineup.

The RTX Spark architecture utilizes a unified memory pool shared between the CPU and GPU, supporting the full [NVIDIA CUDA](<https://hardwarebrief.com/entity/cuda-q477690>) stack. While it enables 128GB of memory, its 273GB/s bandwidth trails the M5 Max MacBook Pro and the 896GB/s found in the RTX 5090.

This hardware allows laptops to run 120B AI models with a one million context window, a significant jump from previous 32GB VRAM limits. However, it faces stiff competition from AMD's Ryzen AI MAX 400 platform, which offers memory pools up to 192GB.
