Developer pipotoufikxyz-lgtm updated the dlssg_for_sm86 project on September 19 to add Smooth Motion and Vulkan support for Ampere chips. Additionally, developer ItsAdeline created NVSmooth30, a compatibility layer tested on RTX 3050 and RTX 3070 hardware.
These unofficial adaptations of the DLSS-G runtime allow older hardware to utilize modern frame generation. However, users should remain cautious, as modifying game files to enable these features can potentially trigger automated anti-cheat security systems.
