NVIDIA has launched the RTX Kit v2026.3 and RTX Mega Geometry v2.0 SDKs, introducing advanced support for high-density geometry, neural texture workflows, and lighting. The update expands features to ARM64 and includes a new Zorah demo utilizing texture glTF.
The RTX Mega Geometry 2.0 SDK enables streaming continuous level-of-detail clusters for high-density meshes. While Alan Wake II used earlier versions, Gears of War: E-Day will be the first to pair this tech with Unreal Engine Nanite texture streaming on Oct 6.
This technology addresses current DXR 1.2 and Vulkan limitations where Nanite reverts to low-detail meshes during ray tracing. By targeting future DXR 2.0 standards, NVIDIA prepares for the October 2026 launch of RTX Spark PC devices and next-gen rendering.
