Nvidia Releases Critical Security Update Driver

Nvidia issues a massive patch for Maxwell, Pascal, and Volta GPUs to fix 114 security vulnerabilities across Windows and Linux systems.

Nvidia has released a critical GeForce Security Update Driver for Maxwell, Pascal, and Volta generation graphics cards. This massive patch addresses 114 security vulnerabilities across GPU graphics drivers and vGPU software for Windows and Linux systems.

The update fixes 98 graphics driver flaws and 16 vGPU issues, including 76 high-severity and 37 medium-severity bugs. Most critical is CVE-2026-47574, a Linux vGPU Manager vulnerability with a 9.9 CVSS score, requiring immediate installation of new drivers.

Supported hardware includes GTX 700, 900, and 10 series cards, alongside Titan V and Xp models. Users should update to WHQL versions like 616.56 or 610.88 on Windows, or Linux versions 615.71.09 and 595.91.07, to protect professional and consumer GPUs.
