The **NVIDIA** RTX PRO 5500 Blackwell workstation card has surfaced at US retailer **SHI Government Solutions**. A **PNY**-built model, part number VCNRTXPRO5500B-PB, is listed with an MSRP of $17,999, though the retailer currently shows a discounted price of $17,408.63.

The RTX PRO 5500 features 21,760 CUDA cores and 84 GB of memory across 28 GDDR7 modules. This compares to the RTX PRO 6000, which offers 24,064 cores and 96 GB of memory for $16,000. NVIDIA added this new Blackwell-based card to its professional lineup in September.

While the B300 is barred from China, firms like **ByteDance**, **Alibaba**, and Tencent have ordered over 3 million units at $11,400 each. Total Chinese orders exceed 6 million units, yet sources indicate NVIDIA can only produce 3 million cards annually by 2027.
