# NVIDIA Unveils Vera CPU for Agentic Intelligence

**NVIDIA** has unveiled the **Vera CPU**, a standalone processor designed for agentic intelligence ecosystems and multi-step reasoning loops. Featuring a monolithic compute die and custom **LPDDR5X** memory, Vera delivers 1.5x faster performance than the **Grace CPU**.

The chip utilizes a 10-wide decode width and the second-generation Scalable Coherent Fabric, reaching 3.4 TB/s of bisection bandwidth. Proprietary Spatial Multithreading provisions dedicated worker and I/O threads, a feature verified by **Phoronix** reviews.

Vera marks a shift from Grace's GPU-host role to a standalone asset. It outperforms x86 chips by 2x on Python and coding tasks, addressing massive scale requirements where providers host up to 400,000 sandboxes for AI agents in complex environments.
