Pimax unveiled the Crystal Pro wireless PC VR headset at its Frontier event, debuting alongside Ringless VR Controllers and the Spation mini-PC. The $1,399 headset features QLED panels with 2880 x 2880 resolution per eye and a new Stratosphere Blue color.
The Crystal Pro utilizes Native Foveated Streaming and Wi-Fi 6E, with an optional $599 60G AirLink kit for 6 Gbps throughput and sub-2ms latency. It includes aspheric glass lenses, 120 Hz refresh rates, and a 16,000mAh external pack instead of a built-in battery.
This launch advances high-end VR with SLAM 2.0 tracking and swappable faceplates for Lighthouse or MR support. The Ringless Controllers offer under 15ms latency, while the Spation mini-PC provides Ryzen 9800X3D power. Reservations are open now for $1 at Pimax.
