The owner used a stock 12VHPWR cable from an ATX 3.1-compliant ASRock PG-1600G power supply. PNY rejected the claim because a PNY-provided cable or adapter was not used, though its Rev 02.28.2025 warranty documentation lacks specific clauses regarding cables.
A PNY Senior Technician confirmed the denial is final and closed the support ticket. While PNY requires installation per its guide, that document only mentions 6-pin and 8-pin cables, omitting the 16-pin 12VHPWR connector used by the flagship RTX 5090 card.
