RTX 5070 Ti Overclocked to 39 Gbps Memory Speed

A GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 5070 Ti achieved a 1248 GB/s bandwidth using the mVolt+ Extreme tool to push GDDR7 memory to record-breaking speeds.

A user successfully overclocked a GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 5070 Ti to a memory speed of 39 Gbps using the mVolt+ Extreme tool. This modification pushed the 16 GB of GDDR7 memory well beyond its stock 28 Gbps speed, achieving a stable memory offset of +5500 MHz.

The overclock increased memory bandwidth from 896 GB/s to 1248 GB/s. While conventional tools limit increases to +3000 MHz, this method enabled higher gains, though a +6000 MHz attempt crashed. The mVolt+ Extreme tool can also unlock up to 700W for the RTX 5090.

Performance tests showed a 20% boost in the Steel Nomad benchmark. In Cyberpunk 2077 with path tracing, the user reported a 1 FPS gain for every +1000 MHz, totaling a 5.5 FPS increase over stock. This demonstrates the significant scaling potential of GDDR7.
