# SK hynix Cancels Solidigm IPO Plans

**SK hynix** has reportedly cancelled its plans for an initial public offering of **Solidigm**, its U.S.-based storage subsidiary. The decision to halt the IPO process follows volatile financial market conditions and recent shifts in global share-price valuations.

Formed from the acquisition of **Intel**'s **NAND** and **SSD** business, Solidigm operates 13 facilities with over 2,000 employees. The company remains focused on enterprise and client solid-state storage, maintaining its current product roadmap and support programs.

SK hynix is now exploring alternative funding methods to support Solidigm's growth in high-capacity data-center and PC SSD markets. The cancellation does not reflect a change in the firm's business outlook or its strategic importance to the parent company.
