TCL CSOT Developing 700Hz OLED Monitor Panels

TCL CSOT plans to produce high-performance 700Hz inkjet-printed OLED panels for 32-inch and 34-inch monitors starting in 2028.

TCL CSOT is developing high-performance OLED monitor panels featuring refresh rates up to 700Hz. These displays, which refresh every 1.43 milliseconds, will be produced at a Gen 8.6 factory in Guangzhou, China, in 32-inch and 34-inch sizes starting in 2028.

The panels utilize inkjet printing (IJP) OLED technology to deposit organic materials. While no monitors are yet announced, TCL CSOT plans to ship 27-inch UHD 120Hz IJP OLED panels for an creator monitor in 2026, marking a shift in the current supply chain.

The OLED monitor market is expanding rapidly, with Omdia projecting shipments to reach 7.5 million units by 2027. As ASUS and MSI lead panel purchases, TCL CSOT aims to challenge the market dominance currently held by and suppliers.
