> Nintendo's upcoming Switch 2 remake of the 1998 classic will utilize AMD's spatial upscaling instead of DLSS for its November 5 release.

**Nintendo**'s upcoming remake of **The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time** for the **Switch 2** will utilize **AMD**’s FidelityFX Super Resolution 1.0. Version 1.0.0 license notices for the November 5, 2026, release also confirm EASU mobile implementation and SMAA support.

The 1998 classic's remake features full voice acting, orchestral music, and microphone-based ocarina gameplay. Despite the Switch 2's custom **Nvidia** chip with Tensor cores, this first-party exclusive lacks a DLSS entry, mirroring the launch of Mario Kart World.

Priced at $59.99 for digital and $69.99 for physical editions, the title follows Donkey Kong Bananza in using FSR 1.0. While third-party games like Hogwarts Legacy utilize DLSS for 1440p output, Nintendo continues to opt for AMD's spatial upscaling technology.
