AAEON Debuts UP Xtreme PTL Edge Air Mini PC

AAEON launches the UP Xtreme PTL Edge Air, a slim Mini PC featuring Intel Panther Lake processors and AirJet solid-state active cooling.

AAEON has launched the UP Xtreme PTL Edge Air, a compact Mini PC powered by Intel Panther Lake processors. Released on September 29, 2026, the device features Frore Systems' AirJet solid-state active cooling, which uses ultrasonic vibrations for airflow.

The system is 35% slimmer and 43% lighter than its fan-cooled predecessor, weighing 1.57 lb at 35.8 mm tall. It offers Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors with NPU 5.0, delivering 180 TOPs of AI performance while operating quietly at less than 21 dBA.

Connectivity includes USB4.0, dual 2.5GbE LAN, and 40-pin GPIO. With an operating range of -10°C to 45°C and support for four displays via HDMI 2.1 and DP 2.1, this rugged unit provides high-performance edge computing in a significantly reduced form factor.
