AMD Releases Adrenalin 26.10.1 with FSR 4.1 Support

AMD launches Adrenalin Edition 26.10.1, bringing FSR 4.1 upscaling to Radeon RX 6000 series GPUs and Ryzen AI APUs ahead of schedule.

launched the software on October 20, 2026, bringing FSR 4.1 support to cards and select APUs. This release arrives ahead of schedule, as AMD previously slated the RDNA 2 update for early 2027.

The update covers RX 6000 models from the RX 6400 to the RX 6950 XT using an INT8 model for upscaling. While RDNA 4 exclusive features like AI Frame Generation are absent, FSR 4.1 improves performance in titles like Crimson Desert and Resonance on older hardware.

Handhelds with Ryzen Z2 chips require OEM drivers, and the Steam Deck is currently excluded from the list. AMD plans to expand FSR 4.1 to the Vulkan API via SDK 2.4 and will eventually bring the technology to Xbox Series X and Series S gaming consoles.
