d4r 0.1.2 Adds AMD RDNA 4 Support for NVIDIA DLSS

Developer Countervolts updates d4r to version 0.1.2, enabling NVIDIA DLSS 3 to 4.5 Super Resolution on Radeon GPUs via Linux and Proton.

Developer Countervolts has updated the d4r project to version 0.1.2, introducing experimental support for AMD RDNA 4 GPUs. The tool enables NVIDIA DLSS 3, 4, and 4.5 Super Resolution to run on Radeon hardware in DirectX 12 games via Linux and Proton environments.

The update adds native DLSS 4 and 4.5 kernels for gfx1201 and gfx1200, covering the Radeon RX 9070 and RX 9060 series. It utilizes native FP8 matrix operations by default, though the gfx1201 path is currently emulated and gfx1200 remains untested on hardware.

While d4r lacks Frame Generation and Ray Reconstruction, it shows slight performance gains on the RX 7700 XT in Silent Hill Townfall. This project leverages ZLUDA and ROCm to bridge NVIDIA's official DLLs with Radeon kernels, though RDNA 4 results are pending.
