HP Announces ZBook Ultra G3a Mobile Workstation

HP's new 16-inch ZBook Ultra G3a features AMD Ryzen AI Max+ PRO processors and 192 GB of unified memory for advanced AI workflows.

HP Inc. announced the HP ZBook Ultra G3a mobile workstation on September 15, 2026. This 16-inch laptop features AMD processors, supporting up to the Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495. It includes a 55 TOPS NPU and integrated Radeon graphics with up to 160 GB of VRAM.

The workstation supports 192 GB of unified memory, enabling local execution of AI models with 300 billion parameters. It integrates Perplexity software and task-based Skills. A specialized MCP Connector links Perplexity Portable Computer to Autodesk Revit.

Designed for portability, the G3a weighs 4.2 lbs and is 17.9 mm thick with a 100 W thermal design. It supports 5G via HP Go and features an IT-replaceable keyboard. The device is expected to launch in October 2026 for professional visualization workflows.
