HP has unveiled the ZBook Ultra G3a, a high-performance mobile workstation developed under the codename Sundae. Scheduled for an October 2026 launch, the device features the AMD Gorgon Halo platform and can be configured with the Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 chip.
The 16-inch workstation boasts a 2.8K OLED display at 120 Hz, up to 192GB of RAM, and 8TB of storage. To manage the 100W APU power draw, HP integrated a vapor chamber and larger fans. Connectivity includes Thunderbolt 4, a card reader, and optional 5G modems.
This model marks a significant power jump, with a TDP 81.8% higher than the 55W ZBook Ultra G1a. While the G1a retails for 4,611 Euro, IFA 2026 estimates suggest the G3a could reach 8,000 Euro, offering a 96-Wh battery rated for up to 16.5 hours of mobile use.
