Intel Unveils Core 5 205H Mobile Processor

Intel introduces the Core 5 205H, an 8-core Raptor Lake-H refresh chip delivering improved performance for mobile devices and MoDT boards.

has officially introduced the Core 5 205H, a Raptor Lake-H refresh processor designed for mobile devices and MoDT motherboards like those from MaxSun. Part of the Core Series 2 lineup, this 8-core, 12-thread chip features a 4.8 GHz turbo boost clock.

The processor operates with a 45W default TDP and notably lacks integrated graphics. Recent PassMark benchmarks show the 205H achieving 3,699 in single-core and 19,390 in multi-core tests, outperforming the Core i5-13420H by 10.5% and 15.7% respectively.

While sharing the same core configuration and process node as its predecessor, the 205H offers improved clock speeds. Intel has scheduled the official launch for Q1 2026, positioning it as a refined mid-range option for the upcoming mobile hardware cycle.
