SVP Cho Min-sung confirmed the upcoming and Razor Lake SoCs during a South Korea seminar. Nova Lake is slated for a 2027 launch, followed by Razor Lake-AX in 2028. These next-gen chips represent Intel's roadmap for high-performance computing.
The Razor Lake-AX SoC will deliver 700 TOPS of AI compute, a 3.88x increase over Panther Lake's 180 TOPS. It also exceeds 's Jetson AGX Orin by 2.5x. The chips are expected to feature on-package memory, similar to the design used in Lunar Lake Series 2.
Targeting premium devices and the Physical AI market, Razor Lake-AX positions Intel against NVIDIA's Jetson Thor platforms. While Thor T3000 offers 865 TFLOPS at 70W, Intel's massive TOPS increase signals a major push into specialized AI and robotics hardware.
