The system features 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 128GB of UFS storage. It includes five NVMe slots supporting up to 40TB of total capacity. Connectivity is robust with two USB4 ports, 10GbE and 2.5GbE LAN, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 6, HDMI 2.1, and a passive cooling design.
This NAS leverages a 15TOPS NPU and an Xe3 iGPU for advanced media tasks, supporting AV1, VP9, and AVC 10-bit encoding. Starting at $599 for the diskless model, the S5 offers a high-performance, silent storage solution for modern high-speed networking needs.
