has unveiled the Vera CPU, a high-performance processor built on the Armv9.2-A architecture. Featuring 88 custom Olympus cores, the chip utilizes spatial multithreading to support two threads per core and a 10-wide decode for efficient processing.
The CPU employs the second-generation Scalable Coherency Fabric, a mesh distributing L3 cache with 3.4 TB/s bandwidth. It uses replaceable SOCAMM2 LPDDR5X memory at 9600 MT/s, delivering 1.2 TB/s of total bandwidth and 1.8 TB/s between dual-socket configurations.
In SPEC CPU 2026 benchmarks, Vera outperformed the 512-thread by 1.5% and the by 8.6%. While leading in PyBench and ClickHouse tasks, it trails AMD and Intel in Zstd decompression and John The Ripper password cracking performance.
