has released the GeForce/ Hotfix Driver 621.12 for Windows 10 and 11 to resolve critical video playback issues. This update specifically targets freezes and black screens affecting cards and specialized RTX Spark systems.
The problems were introduced by Game Ready Driver 621.01, released six days prior. Users, including RTX 5080 owners, reported displays going black for several seconds while playing video in Chrome, Edge, or VLC. NVIDIA acknowledged these bugs on October 24.
This beta driver also fixes crashes, MSI N16 Flip flickering, and StarTech adapter corruption. It is available for x64 systems, with a separate ARM64 package for RTX Spark devices, providing essential stability for high-end hardware users.
