NVIDIA Denies GeForce RTX 5090 Discontinuation

NVIDIA confirms the GeForce RTX 5090 remains in production, attributing current supply shortages to capacity constraints rather than EOL.

has officially denied reports claiming the GeForce RTX 5090 has been discontinued. While an unnamed board partner alleged that NVIDIA stopped accepting orders for GPUs and 32GB GDDR7 memory kits, the company confirmed shipping will continue.

The rumors gained traction after the RTX 5090 was removed from NVIDIA's US Marketplace and updated listings to 'Not Carried.' However, executive Jeff Fisher and official written statements clarify that no end-of-life notice has been issued.

Supply chain shifts complicate the outlook, as a cooler supplier noted reduced orders for early 2027 and zero orders for the second quarter. NVIDIA attributes current availability issues to production capacity constraints rather than a product cancellation.
