RTX 5070 Ti Undervolt Cuts Power Draw to 143W

A Redditor achieved a significant power reduction on the RTX 5070 Ti, reaching 0.67V and 142.8W peak draw using mVolt+ Extreme software.

Redditor u/Most_Cicada3939 recently demonstrated a significant undervolt of the desktop RTX 5070 Ti, reaching 0.67V with a clock speed of 1,890 MHz. Using mVolt+ Extreme v0.47.2, the user applied a -145mV voltage offset and a +300MHz core clock offset for the test.

The card, which has a 300W TGP rating, saw its peak power draw drop to 142.8W during the process. Running on driver 621.01 with a Ryzen 7 5800XT, the GPU core temperature peaked at 47.8°C, while the hotspot reached 51.8°C and memory temperatures hit 56°C.

This experiment highlights the efficiency potential of the RTX 5070 Ti, as the 12V-2x6 connector peaked at just 138.6W. However, it is important to note that no benchmarks were provided to confirm the long-term stability of the card at these specific settings.
