Samsung Unveils Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and S12+

Samsung debuts the Galaxy Tab S12 series featuring MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chips, AMOLED displays, and seven years of software support.

Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S12+, both powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset. The Ultra model features a 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, while the S12+ offers a 12.6-inch panel, both reaching 1,600 nits.

Running Android 17 with One UI 9, these tablets include a bundled S Pen and IP68 certification. The Ultra supports Wi-Fi 7 and up to 16GB RAM, whereas the S12+ features Wi-Fi 6E and 12GB RAM. Both support 45W charging and include a six-month Google AI Pro trial.

Launching October 7 in Gray and Silver, the series promises seven years of security updates and seven major OS upgrades. With ultra-thin designs and high-resolution 120Hz screens, these devices aim to lead the premium tablet market through long-term support.
