SanDisk has officially introduced the E31 portable SSD, a new USB-C storage solution scheduled to go on sale September 21. The drive features a USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface with 10Gbps bandwidth, delivering sequential read speeds rated up to 1,000MB/s for users.
Available in 500GB, 1TB, and 2TB capacities, the E31 is priced at 829, 1,239, and 2,199 yuan respectively. The 2TB model converts to approximately $309. While read speeds are confirmed, SanDisk has not yet listed specific write speed specifications for the unit.
The rugged enclosure is designed to withstand drops from up to two meters and contains no moving parts. Compatible with Type-C notebooks, tablets, and smartphones, the E31 includes a three-year limited warranty, offering a durable option for mobile storage.
