AMD is reportedly launching the Ryzen 5 7500, a six-core Zen 4 CPU featuring a 5.0 GHz boost clock and a 65 W TDP for the AM5 platform.

AMD is reportedly preparing to launch the 5 7500 processor for the AM5 socket, according to a post by Roland Quandt on Bluesky. This new Raphael CPU features six cores and 12 threads, though AMD has not yet provided official confirmation of the chip.

The Ryzen 5 7500 offers a 3.7 GHz base clock and a boost clock up to 5.0 GHz, matching the Ryzen 5 7500F. It includes 38 MB of total cache and a 65 W TDP. In comparison, the Ryzen 5 7500X3D is capped at a lower 4.5 GHz boost clock despite its higher positioning.

Reportedly priced at approximately €230, this model follows the Ryzen 5 7500F, which is sold as an OEM version for $130-140. The new processor provides a mid-range option between the budget-friendly 7500F and the $285 7500X3D for users on the latest AM5 platform.
