Analogue Unveils Super Nt Plus and Mega Sg Plus

New FPGA-based consoles for SNES and Sega Genesis cartridges launch with 1080p output and USB-C power, with preorders starting October 19.

has announced the Super Nt Plus and Mega Sg Plus, two new consoles designed to play original and cartridges. Priced at $219.99 each, these systems feature a redesigned exterior, USB-C power, and 1080p video output for modern displays.

Preorders for both consoles open on October 19, with shipping expected to begin in December. The hardware includes built-in wireless support for Bluetooth and low-latency 2.4GHz controllers, alongside an additional USB-A port for connecting various peripherals.

Unlike software emulation, these consoles use field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) to recreate original hardware behavior with high accuracy. This release follows the Analogue 3D, a Nintendo 64-compatible console that offers 4K support for retro enthusiasts.
