ASUS has officially opened pre-orders for the ROG Xbox Ally X20 gaming handheld, priced at $1,299. Available on the ASUS and Best Buy online stores, the device features a translucent black plastic chassis and is scheduled to launch on October 15, 2026.
The handheld succeeds the 2025 edition, offering a 7.4-inch OLED HDR display with 1,400 nits peak brightness and a 0.2 ms response time. It is powered by the AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor with 8 cores, 24 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and 1 TB of NVMe SSD storage.
Priced $300 higher than its predecessor, the X20 integrates an 80 Wh battery and weighs 756 grams. Supporting AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, this new flagship model unveiled at Computex 2026 begins shipping to customers starting its official October 15 release.
