Developer Daniel has released DLSS-NR-on-AMD Alpha 0.4.0, a utility enabling NVIDIA DLSS 5 Neural Rendering on AMD GPUs. Following the Alpha 0.3.3 launch on September 25, 2026, the 0.4.0 update arrived just one day later to further optimize the software.
Alpha 0.3.3 introduced a graphical installer with a settings editor and new overlay controls, yielding a 23% speed boost. The 0.4.0 update adds a 42% improvement, resulting in a 74% total performance gain in 24 hours for Radeon RX 9000 and 7000 series users.
Testing by Ancient Gameplays in Cyberpunk 2077 at 3440x1440p saw frame rates jump from 30 to 50 FPS. This utility is significant as DLSS 5 reportedly causes performance loss on RTX 50 series cards, yet now runs efficiently on competing AMD Radeon hardware.
