Panasonic has unveiled the Toughbook G3 and Toughbook FZ-34, two rugged tablet-laptop hybrids marking the brand's 30th anniversary. These magnesium-shelled devices feature Intel Panther Lake chips, active cooling, and modular parts like barcode scanners.
The G3 offers a 10.1-inch screen and 24-hour battery life, while the FZ-34 features a 12.4-inch 3:2 display. Both support 5G, up to 64GB RAM, and 2TB SSDs. The FZ-34 is available now, while the G3 arrives in October 2026 with backward accessory compatibility.
These upgrades provide significant performance boosts, moving the G3 from Meteor Lake and the 34 from Raptor Lake. With optional Core Ultra X7 368H CPUs and 1,000-nit IPS screens, these hybrids deliver high-end power to demanding professional environments.
