Suneast is marketing a new 2TB card, as discovered by Redditor Icalivy via a promotional banner. While the company claims the card can hold up to 160 games, or at least 128 titles, there is currently no official release date or price set.
Readers should note that 1TB MicroSD cards from Lexar and SanDisk currently cost over $300, while 512GB options exceed $130. A Suneast 1TB SKU is available on for $299.99, but 2TB Express cards are not anticipated to arrive until mid-2027 or later.
Storage is critical as the features 256GB of internal space, yet the Final Fantasy remake trilogy alone may exceed 300GB. While manufacturers prioritize enterprise SSDs, TrendForce expects memory prices to finally ease as 2027 progresses.
