AMD has officially opened pre-orders for the first systems featuring the Ryzen AI Max Pro 400+ series, following its IFA 2026 debut. These units, including the Gorgon Halo APU with support for 192GB of RAM, are scheduled for delivery in October and November.
The Lucebox system leads the rollout, equipped with a Ryzen AI MAX+ PRO 495 and a 32GB Radeon AI PRO R9700 connected via four PCIe-4.0 lanes. While base models are available, upgrading the RAM from 128GB to 192GB adds a significant 2,199 Euro to the total cost.
Starting at approximately 6,500 USD, these Gorgon Point mini-PCs offer triple the memory capacity of competitors like Nvidia DGX Spark and Intel Panther Lake. This launch marks a major leap in APU performance since the preceding Strix Halo architecture series.
