HP EliteBook X G3i With 20-Core Intel CPU Leaks

A benchmark listing for the HP EliteBook X G3i reveals a new 20-core Intel processor, signaling a core count increase for the laptop line.

A new 14-inch laptop identified as the HP EliteBook X G3i has surfaced on the SiSoftware platform. The benchmark listing reveals a 20-core CPU designated as a Genuine Intel(R) 0000 processor, featuring a clock speed range between 3.0 GHz and 4.6 GHz.

Technical specifications for the chip include 18 MB of L3 cache and four blocks of L2 cache at 4 MB each. This marks a core count increase over the current HP EliteBook X G2i, which utilizes the 16-core Intel Core Ultra 7 356H with 18 MB of L3 cache.

While the 20-core configuration matches the Arrow Lake Intel Core Ultra 7 265HX, that chip carries 30 MB of L3 cache. The appearance follows recent HWiNFO listings for Nova Lake-H and HX, suggesting HP is testing next-generation Intel silicon for its lineup.
