Mod Enables NVIDIA DLSS 5 on AMD RDNA 4 GPUs

A new mod allows AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT users to run NVIDIA DLSS 5 Neural Rendering by leveraging RDNA 4 architecture's FP8 support.

A new mod has enabled 's DLSS 5 Neural Rendering on 4 GPUs, specifically the Radeon RX 9070 XT. Demonstrated by Ancient Gameplays, the workaround uses an executable and DLL file to bypass restrictions previously limiting the tech to RTX 50 series.

The process requires placing specific files into a game's directory and enabling FSR 3 or 4. While Cyberpunk 2077 initially dropped to 12 FPS, the Alpha v0.2.7 mod update improved performance by 12%, achieving 30 FPS at 1080p on the RX 9070 XT hardware.

This unofficial implementation leverages FP8 support found in RDNA 4 and RDNA 5 architectures. Beyond AMD hardware, modders have also enabled DLSS 5 on older RTX 40, 30, and 20 series cards, expanding access to the neural model across multiple GPU generations.
