NVIDIA RTX 5080 24GB Design Kit Delays Reported

NVIDIA has reportedly delayed design kit distribution for the RTX 5080 24GB, pushing the expected launch into the first quarter of 2027.

has reportedly delayed the distribution of design kits for its upcoming GeForce RTX 5080 24 GB graphics card. While technical documents were expected in October 2026, BenchLife reports that partners have yet to receive the necessary materials as of November.

The new model is expected to upgrade the current 16 GB version with 24 GB of memory, likely utilizing a 256-bit bus and 3 GB chips. Despite rumors of a December 2026 or January 2027 launch, BenchLife now points toward a release in the first quarter of 2027.

Timing is critical as partners require at least six weeks from receiving design kits to commercialization. With CES 2027 scheduled for early January, the lack of kits suggests the 24 GB variant may miss the event, though NVIDIA has not confirmed official dates.
