Fujitsu Limited has announced the global launch of its next-generation CPU, FUJITSU-MONAKA, with sales starting in November 2026. Designed in Japan, the processor will be sold as a standalone product to cloud operators, data centers, and server vendors.
The CPU features a 2nm core process and 5nm cache/IO sections using 3D-stacked architecture. It reaches 3.8 GHz with 8800 MT/s memory speeds. Hardware-level confidential computing is included to protect data and applications via memory-based encryption.
Fujitsu will also release MONAKA Servers, including 1U and 2U rack-mount models, manufactured at its Kasashima Plant. These systems target HPC, defense, and enterprise sectors in Japan and Europe, with sequential shipments beginning in April 2027.
