Super Flower Launches VGA 12+4PIN OCP Dongle

Super Flower releases an inline monitoring device designed to prevent 12V-2x6 connector damage through real-time current tracking.

Super Flower has officially launched its VGA 12+4PIN OCP Dongle, an inline monitoring device first showcased at Computex 2026. Designed to sit between the PSU cable and a graphics card's 12V-2x6 connector, the dongle tracks current across each 12 V line.

The device triggers alerts if a single line holds 9.5 A to 12 A for 10 seconds or if two lines drift by 6 A. Exceeding 12 A for 10 seconds activates a flashing red LED and buzzer, eventually leading to a VGA Black Screen Protection state to prevent damage.

Listed at NT$1,190 in Taiwan, the dongle is currently a promotional bundle with Leadex VIII PSUs. It joins competitors like 's $49.99 GPU Shield Adapter as Hardware Unboxed reports ongoing melting issues with the latest connectors.
